A small bookcase made by her father as a teenager in shop class. The restoration consisted of new joinery, regluing, refinishing, and glass replacement.
A very nice mahogany dresser that was sun faded. Refinished to reveal its true beauty.
This painted Deacon's bench was found on the side of the road.
From trash to treasure.
This mahogany veneered dresser was on it's way to the dump, when the owner stopped by our shop to see if there was any hope for it.
The case was reglued, the veneer repaired, and finally refinished.
Her great aunt was the former owner of this Victrola, and unfortunately, the dog had an opportunity to do some severe damage to it.
In addition, the right rear leg had been chewed off.
This unit was completely restored, including the mechanisms.
In the last two years, we have done many of these and now consider them one of our "Specialties."
According to it's owner, this solid walnut bookcase dates back to the early 1800's.
Someone had painted it forest green, a lovely color, and it had been stripped before we got it. (sort of)
We disassembled it, restripped it properly, reglued, reassembled the case, and, then, refinished it.
A mahogany desk, with minor repairs that we refinished.
A solid chestnut rocker, made somewhere in Indiana, back in the late 1800's.
As seen in the before photo, the left hand rocker foot is broken.
Two new rocker feet were fabricated, colored to match, and the entire rocker refinished.
A very nice upholstered, solid mahogany rocker, with caned sides and back.
Repairs to the mahogany frame and caning were done, and the entire rocker refinished.
